It was initiated with the thought of alleviating the burden on Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) to provide quality and free healthcare to the thousands of patients that walk through its gates every day.
Over the years, an increasing volume of patients along with limited resources had put a strain on this renowned government hospital named after the founding father of the country. Patients’ Aid Foundation took responsibility to build back on its lost glory through a private-public partnership.

Maintaining a strictly apolitical stance, Patients’ Aid Foundation has successfully completed ten large-scale projects, established a state-of-the-art blood bank, a highly sophisticated laboratory and a streamlined drug bank.
