Patients’ Aid Foundation (PAF) – JPMC presented a comprehensive workplace protection guide against COVID-19 for one of its generous donors, TPL Corp. The sessions highlighted responsibilities on part of both employers and employees to work together in order to make the workplace safer and reduce the risk for contraction of Coronavirus.
PAF conducted 3 sessions for Head of Departments, Mid-Level Managers and Supporting Staff to effectively share relevant information according to each audience group. The 30 minutes sessions were planned to brief staff members how they can continue to work safely during this pandemic by taking simple yet effective safety measures.
The sessions covered following topics:
- Risk assessment to identify areas of concern within the organisation
- Control measures through a reasonably practical hierarchy of controls
- Recognition of higher risk employees who are more inclined to contract the virus
- Checklist to determine employees most likely to get tested for virus
- Safe return to work of employees after unconfirmed illness/COVID-19
- Preventive measures for COVID-19 for various locations inside workplace
