CyberKnife is a robotic, cutting-edge technology that uses a high cancer-killing dose of radiation in a precise, painless, and non-invasive manner. It is an effective alternative to surgery, treating not just tumors anywhere in the body, but other medical disorders like trigeminal neuralgia and AV malformations as well. There is no anesthesia, risk of infection, hemorrhage or healthy tissue injury and very minimal recovery time during the procedure.

PAF helped bring this whole body stereotactic radiosurgery facility to JPMC in 2012, making it the first and only such facility in the nation, with over 5000 successful sessions conducted so far. The treatment costs around $50,000 – $90,000 per patient internationally, and with PAF’s help, it is available to those in need at absolutely no cost. It is the only medical centre in the world that is providing the CyberKnife treatment absolutely free for the needy. PAF requires donations of Rs 100 million ($1 million) per year to keep the facility running and to meet the high demand for this facility.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
